Trillian es una aplicación bastante completa e independiente con la que podrás usar todos los servicios de mensajería instantánea populares (AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo Messenger e IRC).Con Trillian puedes charlar como si lo hicieras con la mensajería original, aunque proporciona capacidades más altas, como múltiples conexiones simultáneas a la misma red, la importación de contactos en el lado del servidor, las notificaciones en la bandeja del sistema, el cifrado de los mensajes (AIM/ICQ), el envió de SMS y la configuración de la privacidad.
Pero además viene con las características estándares del chat como el audio chat, las trasferencias de los archivos, el chat en grupo, salas de chat, y cientos de emoticonos animados y con sonidos. Todas las ventanas de la conversación se organizan en pestañas y puedes guardar el historial de los mensajes, hacer búsquedas instantáneas o cambiar de estado en todas las sesiones a la vez. Viene libre de spyware y no tiene ventanas emergentes.
En resumen, si tienes más de una cuenta de Messenger o si usas diferentes clientes, Trillian podría ser tu mejor elección para poder estar en contacto con todos tus amigos de todas tus cuentas.
